There are all the usual watersport facilities available ie wind - surfing, water skiing, snorkling available in this area. There are also boat trips available to such places as San Tropez, Antibes, Nice and Monaco at very reasonable prices. The apartment is just off Blvd Carnot and the walk down to beaches area brings you down past the railway station and then past Rue D'Antibes on which are located all the world famous fashion shops. Cannes is famous for its restaurants and hotels. The restaurants range from highly extensive to very reasonably priced excellent restaurants.
